A Great Place to Go

Hi! Recently I went to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. Their gift shop was amazing. (I got a cute little white blood cell stuffed animal!) You can make your own paper, walk inside a giant heart or operate a giant crane! So if you love science or just want to get away from boring stay at home weekends, then this is the place to go. -- Emily

A Good Book to Read

I have read many books since I learned how to read. One of the best books out of all of them is The Tale of Despereaux by Kate Dicamillo. It is a great book about a mouse, a princess, some soup, and a spool of thread.

A Poem

Below is a poem that I wrote myself. I hope you like it.

                                                                   Tooth Fairy

                         

                                                                Tip toe, tip toe.

                                                          Where did you go?

                                                              

                                                      Up in the sky,

                                                       up you fly.

                                                       Tip toe, tip toe,

                                                        on the ground.

                                                You don't even make a sound.

                                                       Fly in the house,

                                                     as quiet as a mouse.

                                                      Up the stairs,

                                                         in the air.

                                                         In to the bedroom,

                                                         in you go.

                                                         In to the bedroom,

                                                         in you tip toe.

                                                         Fly up to my bed,

                                                         fly up to my head.

                                                    

                                                         Reach for my tooth,

                                                         then go poof!

                                                         Put the money in its place,

                                                         and create a smile on my face.

                                                         Then you leave as quiet as a mouse,

                                                         then you leave my wonderful house.
